HERMA sails through Nestlé’s Responsible Sourcing
Audit HERMA’s internal standards were audited by the well-known independent certifying body SGS. The audit focused on business integrity, working conditions, environment, safety and health – criteria based on the “Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit 4 Pillars Protocol” devised by non-profit organisation Sedex. Among other things, the audit includes an inspection of operations and interviews with employees, as well as discussions with the management, worker representatives and safety and environmental protection officers. In particular, the certifying body emphasised how consistently HERMA implements and adheres to its sustainability regulations.
